Video Game Redesign Brainstorming
The inspiration that I used for the creation of this game is that of divine inspiration. I felt like doing something realistic yet still out of this world. I thought, what do we have on earth that I like, and I thought, BALLOONS! I am unable to upload the pictures for some reason, but there is supposed to be a picture of a man hanging from a group of balloons, and one of a world made entirely of balloons.

Barbara Kruger Assignment
In this piece I see words telling about the breath of life. There is a smoky haze in front of a mouth and nose. Coincidentally, the mouth and nose are the parts ofthe body that we breathe through.
The message I was attempting to convey through this picture was that of youtuh. When our society is telling us we should move out of our parent's houses and move on with our lives as young as 17. While all the young people are striving to become aged, many old people turn in their minds are trying to do things they missed doing in their youth. We should try to be young while we can, and age only when we must.
I like this piece of art for the most part, though using picture I did took away from the dramatic effect I was hoping to get.

Flash Game Reflection
What I like most, what could be improved, and how is it better than the orginal?
The thing I like most about my version of the game is not the main goal, the landing pads or the difficulty in the levels. My favourite part of the game that I created are the bright colours and the small details off to the side or in plain sight that make it just a little more interesting. There are happy faces in the maps if you look closely, which can definitely lighten your mood if you are not having a good day, this was my goal in doing such things.
The things that could be improved in the game are the details and the like that were not taken care of carefully. In the first level there is a balloon sprouting out of the ground with part it's circle missing. It would have been far more visually appealing for the eye candy factor if it were a full circle.

Barbara Kruger Criticism
I chose the "Your Body Is A Battleground" piece, and in my personal opinion, the image is half negative and with good reason. The bold writing backed by red in the centre catches your attention and thus keeps your eye on the picture.
The message that I got from this piece is that your body is constantly in a struggle with itself, emotions fighting and always in competition. Sometimes one emotion will take over but is a temporary victory, with another soon to take it's place.
I personally do not like krugger's work because it is not busy enough for me. I like being able to move my eye around a picture and see lots of details on lots of different objects. In my humble opinion this picture is boring.
